LCC KIDS
Parents! LCC Kids Welcomes YOU!
LCC Kids would love to welcome all infants - 5th grade students to join us for kids programming during our 9 AM and 10:30 AM services!
If you can't make it to in-person services this week, or if you want to check out what your child is learning about this week, check out our kids church videos here:
Preschool - June 4, 2023
Elementary - June 4, 2023
At LCC, we believe that parents are the main disciple-makers in the life of their child. Because of this, we desire to partner with parents to help raise up this next generation of followers of Jesus. The curriculum that we use is called “Orange.” “Orange” gets its name by combining the love of the home (represented by the color red) and the light of the church (represented but the color yellow). When the two are combined, they create the color orange. The Orange curriculum provides tools to help connect parents to what their kids are learning about in LCC Kids each Sunday. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Kelsie at kelsie@leclairecc.com!

Generations of Followers of Jesus
Early Childhood
(Birth to Pre-K)

Early Childhood (Birth - PreK) Our littlest friends at LCC are divided into age appropriate classrooms with background checked volunteers where they begin as young as 18 months to get a “First Look” at God.
Using the “Orange” curriculum, our littles learn three basic truths through play, crafts, snacks and an engaging story time:
• God Made Me
• God Loves Me
• Jesus Wants to be my Forever Friend
Elementary Age
(Kindergarten to 5th Grade)

Elementary (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) Our Kindergarten through 5th grade friends learn a new virtue every month. A virtue is “something God does in you to change the world around you.”
Using the “Orange” curriculum, our elementary kids learn these virtues by studying a different Bible story each week that showcases what these virtues look like in daily life.
Our kids are separated into small groups by grades (K/1st; 2/3; 4/5), led by background checked volunteers to talk about how best to apply these virtues to their lives at school, at home, and in their community. Our small group times are interactive, fun, and a great companion to our large group times each Sunday where we sing, play games, and hear an engaging message from God’s word.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my child needs me when I am in service?
Through our check-in system, we have assigned your family/child a security number. This number is on their name tag and also on your parent card. If your child needs you during the service times, we will post that security number up on the screens during the service. Someone will meet you in the foyer to communicate which child is in need.
What if my child wants to know more about baptism?
We would love to partner with you to have this exciting conversation about taking the next step in your child’s relationship with Jesus! Contact Kelsie Koch our LCC Kids Minister at kelsie@leclairecc.com for more information!
