What has changed in the church since the fall of 2019? Lead Minister Andy Turner talks about how fear and polarization have changed the church in recent years, and how we as part of both the local and universal church can live together as the church that Jesus desires for us to be.
This week, we continue discussing how we can become more like Jesus, individually, so that the church becomes more like Jesus, collectively. Andy shares about ways that we can live according to Jesus’ example, and follow what the scripture says, especially when it comes to forgiveness, guilt, apathy, and our relationships with those around us.
“Go and do likewise.” Andy continues in week 3 of our series, “Our House,” with a reminder of the command from Jesus to show mercy and love to those around us. How can we reach those around us who are struggling? How should the church react to the brokenness and hurt in the world around us? Listen to this week’s message to hear more about how Jesus-followers can be agents of hope and not “me-centered” Christians.
LCC’s Discipleship Minister Daniel Koch concludes the series “Our House” with a message about the importance of being surrounded by a Jesus-minded community. As we learn from the book of Daniel, our faith will be tested, and having the support of fellow believers can help us to stand firm no matter what.
