Again, while the church building may not be open during this time, we want to continue to express that we are the church, inside and outside the church building. We appreciate your continued support and love and we ask that you help to continue to be the church wherever you go this week. Whether that’s at home with your family or at work serving others, we are praying for our church family to continue to be the church for our community during this time. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for truly being the church!
LCC staff is continuing to work to prepare services and handle any questions or concerns you may have. Please continue to reach out to us if you have any needs or if you would like to speak with a minister or ask for prayer during this time. We are here to support you and would love nothing more than to be here for you.
We love you all, and you are in our continued prayers for health and safety. Please continue to be in prayer with us for our church family and our community during this time. Feel free to email us or call the church office, as the church phone line is temporarily being forwarded to a staff cell phone. We genuinely appreciate your continued support.
The staff and elders at Leclaire Christian Church are continuing to monitor the ongoing circumstances concerning the spread of COVID-19. We have been paying close attention to the recent developments on both state and local levels and are looking forward to the time we can safely meet in person again. While we wait, our entire leadership team is thinking ahead and preparing the proper measures to ensure the greatest safety of our attendees and their families when we can officially open our doors. As representatives of Christ in our community, we will continue to love our neighbors and care for the safety of the vulnerable as best as we possibly can and make decisions accordingly. We stand by our mission statement to “love God, love others, and prove it daily” in all circumstances.
For the time being, we are continuing to provide online services indefinitely and want to encourage you to stay connected with us each week through those. We do not believe at any point in this season that Church has been “cancelled”, but we continue to find new and innovative ways to stay connected and serve our community. During this time if you need to reach the staff or elders, we would love to hear from you! Please feel free to email the staff to let us know how we can help be a support to you during this time. We love you all and look forward to the day we can meet again in person.
