Matt Campbell, Worship/Student Minister

Matt has served as the Worship/Student Minister at Leclaire since June 2004. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Preaching from St. Louis Christian College and in the spring 2008, Matt will earn a Master of Arts degree in Preaching from Lincoln Christian Seminary. Before graduation and accepting the call to Leclaire Matt served as interim preaching minister (6 months) at Sparta Christian Church in Sparta, IL and Senior Minister (2 ˝ years) at Modesto Christian Church in Modesto, IL.
Along with leading the Student and Worship Ministries, Matt oversees the Young Adult Ministry and was instrumental in the launching of Leclaire’s Sunday night service called "The Ocho."
Matt is married to Nicole and they have one dog, Boomer, who loves trouble. Matt loves the Oklahoma Sooner’s, St. Louis Cardinals, doing jobs around the house, taking care of the yard, being outdoors and, more than all of these, he loves his wife.
His favorite verse of Scripture is Matthew 25:34, "Then the King said to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’"
